Thevenin's Theorem

Thevenin's Theorem is a network theorem in electric circuit theory that states any linear, time-invariant, two-terminal network can be represented by an equivalent circuit consisting of a single voltage source in series with a single impedance, where the voltage source is the open-circuit voltage across the terminals and the impedance is the equivalent impedance seen from the terminals with all independent sources deactivated.
