About

Thermalization is the process by which a system of interacting particles or degrees of freedom evolves towards a state of thermal equilibrium, characterized by a well-defined temperature and statistical energy distribution. It is a fundamental concept investigating the mechanisms, timescales, and conditions under which energy redistribution occurs within a system or between a system and its environment, leading to the loss of memory of initial non-equilibrium states. This research explores the role of internal interactions and external coupling in establishing thermal properties and is critical for understanding system dynamics across diverse fields, including statistical mechanics, condensed matter physics, plasma physics, and high-energy physics.
