Theis Solution

The Theis Solution is an analytical mathematical model in hydrogeology that describes transient groundwater flow to a pumping well in a confined aquifer by combining the governing equation of radial flow with an analogy to heat conduction, distinguished by its use of the well function to express drawdown as a function of time and distance.
