Tectonic Loading

Tectonic Loading is a geophysical process in which mechanical stress is imposed on the Earth's lithosphere due to the accumulation of tectonic forces arising from plate interactions, crustal deformation, or magmatic activity, thereby inducing isostatic adjustments, seismic energy accumulation, or lithospheric flexure distinct from external surface loading mechanisms.
