T2 Star Mapping Sequences

T2 Star Mapping Sequences is a magnetic resonance imaging pulse sequence technique that belongs to the class of quantitative MRI methods and is specifically characterized by its ability to measure the effective transverse relaxation time (T2*) through signal decay analysis across multiple echo times, thereby enabling the mapping of tissue susceptibility and iron content with high sensitivity to local magnetic field inhomogeneities.
