Surface Shortwave Radiation

Surface Shortwave Radiation is the portion of incoming solar radiation within the shortwave spectrum (approximately 0.3 to 3.0 μm) that reaches and is absorbed, reflected, or transmitted at the Earth's surface, distinguishing it from shortwave radiation measured at the top of the atmosphere or within the atmospheric column.
