Surface Color Representation
Surface Color Representation is a neurocomputational construct in cortical color processing that accounts for the brain's encoding of an object's perceived color as a stable property of its surface, distinct from the spectral composition of incident light, by integrating contextual, illuminant, and reflectance cues within higher-tier visual cortical areas.
