Surf Zone Circulation

Surf Zone Circulation is a hydrodynamic process that describes the organized flow of water within the nearshore region where waves break, characterized by the interaction of wave-driven mass transport, rip currents, longshore currents, and nearshore eddies that collectively govern the redistribution of momentum, sediment, and buoyant materials along the coast.
