Superlative Formation is a morphological process in Old Norse inflectional paradigms whereby a superlative degree of an adjective is systematically derived through the addition of a specific suffix, typically *-estr* or *-ast*, to the stem, distinguishing it from comparative and positive forms within the gradation system.
