Sunspot studies is a sub-discipline within solar physics dedicated to the systematic observation, analysis, and theoretical modeling of sunspots. This research investigates the formation, structure, dynamics, magnetic properties, and temporal evolution of these temporary phenomena on the Sun's photosphere to understand the solar activity cycle, solar magnetism, and their influence on space weather.
