Subthreshold Resonances

Subthreshold Resonances is a quantum scattering phenomenon in nuclear physics wherein resonant behavior emerges in the cross-section of particle interactions at energies below the nominal threshold for resonance formation, distinguished by non-perturbative coupling to bound or virtual states that induce temporary quasistationary dynamics.
