Substructure Lensing

Substructure Lensing is a gravitational lensing phenomenon in which small-scale mass distributions, such as dark matter subhalos or compact objects within a lens galaxy, perturb the otherwise smooth lensing potential, producing observable anomalies in the magnification, position, or morphology of background source images.
