Subsidence Risk Mapping
Subsidence Risk Mapping is a geospatial analytical framework that systematically identifies, assesses, and visualizes localized susceptibility to ground displacement due to subsurface resource extraction or soil consolidation, distinguishing it from generalized hazard mapping by its integration of site-specific geological, hydrological, and anthropogenic factors to predict spatial probability and potential impact severity of subsidence events.
