Subregular Solution Theory

Subregular Solution Theory is a thermodynamic model for describing non-ideal solutions in which the excess Gibbs free energy of mixing is expressed as a composition-dependent polynomial expansion, typically including second- and higher-order interaction parameters, thereby allowing for asymmetric deviations from ideality beyond those captured by regular solution theory.
