Subgrid-scale Cloud Representation

Subgrid-Scale Cloud Representation is a modeling construct in atmospheric sciences that characterizes the statistical and physical properties of clouds occurring at spatial scales smaller than the resolved grid resolution of a numerical weather or climate model, enabling their influence on radiative, dynamical, and microphysical processes to be parameterized.
