Stylet-mediated Feeding

Stylet-Mediated Feeding is a specialized feeding mechanism in nematodes whereby a protrusible, needle-like stylet pierces host cells or tissues to facilitate ingestion of cellular contents, distinguishing it from other nematode feeding strategies that lack a structural stylet or rely on non-piercing modes of nutrient acquisition.
