Study Termination Criteria

Study Termination Criteria is a formal set of predefined conditions or benchmarks within an investigational device exemption (IDE) study that determines when the study must be discontinued due to safety concerns, futility, regulatory requirements, or achievement of primary endpoints, thereby distinguishing it from general study monitoring by specifying the decisive thresholds for mandatory or optional trial cessation.
