Street-level Gentrification

Street-Level Gentrification is a form of commercial gentrification characterized by the transformation of neighborhood retail economies through the introduction of new, often upscale, small-scale businesses and services at the street level, which distinguishes it from broader structural or policy-driven forms of urban redevelopment by emphasizing micro-scale, locally visible changes in commercial character and consumer demographics.
