Streamer Formation
Streamer Formation is a physical process in atmospheric electricity whereby a localized ionization front develops and propagates through a gas medium under the influence of a strong electric field, distinguished from other discharge mechanisms by its self-sustained, filamentary plasma channel growth initiated through electron avalanche multiplication and space charge enhancement.
