Stratified Wavy Flow

Stratified Wavy Flow is a type of two-phase flow regime in horizontal or near-horizontal conduits characterized by the presence of a continuous liquid layer at the bottom of the conduit and a wavy interface separating it from the gas or vapor phase flowing above, where interfacial undulations arise due to shear-induced instability at the phase boundary.
