Stenger Test

The Stenger Test is a clinical audiological method that identifies feigned or non-organic hearing loss by exploiting the principle that a tone is perceived only when it is louder in one ear than in the other, thereby distinguishing true unilateral hearing loss from malingering through the introduction of simultaneous stimuli to both ears.
