Steam Quality Optimization
Steam Quality Optimization is a methodological framework within thermal enhanced oil recovery that systematically determines the optimal steam quality—defined as the mass fraction of vapor in a steam-water mixture—to maximize oil displacement efficiency and minimize energy and water consumption during steam injection processes such as steam flooding and steam-assisted gravity drainage.
