State Vector Propagation

State Vector Propagation is the computational process of advancing the state vector—comprising the position and velocity of an orbiting body—through time by numerically integrating the equations of motion in a two-body (or perturbed two-body) gravitational field, thereby predicting the future or past trajectory within the framework of Ephemeris Computation.
