Standby Ups

A Standby UPS is a type of uninterruptible power supply system that belongs to the broader class of UPS architectures and is distinguished by its operation in which the load is normally powered directly by the utility source and switched to inverter-supplied power only upon detection of a mains failure, thereby providing backup protection through minimal active components during normal operation.
