Spring Ecosystem Ecology

Spring Ecosystem Ecology is a subdiscipline of ecosystem ecology that specifically examines the structural and functional dynamics of ecosystems sustained by groundwater discharge at spring vents, distinguished by its focus on the hydrological, biogeochemical, and biological processes that mediate the interactions between groundwater and surface biota in thermally stable, flow-constant environments.
