Split-off Transactions

Split-Off Transactions is a corporate restructuring method in which a parent company offers its shareholders the opportunity to exchange shares of the parent for shares of a subsidiary, thereby creating a separately traded entity while allowing the parent to retain partial ownership, distinguishing it from complete divestiture methods such as spin-offs or split-ups.
