Spinal Meninges

Spinal Meninges is a specialized meningeal system consisting of three concentric connective tissue membranes—the dura mater, arachnoid mater, and pia mater—that collectively envelop and protect the spinal cord within the vertebral canal, distinguished from the cranial meninges by its anatomical continuity, structural adaptations to spinal column morphology, and role in supporting cerebrospinal fluid dynamics and neural integrity along the spinal axis.
