Spin Transport
Spin transport is the phenomenon and associated research field investigating the propagation, manipulation, and detection of electron spin angular momentum in materials. Distinct from conventional charge transport, this concept explores spin-polarized currents and their interactions, forming a cornerstone for spintronics and the development of next-generation information technologies.
