Spin Density Wave Order
Spin Density Wave Order is a type of long-range magnetic order characterized by a periodic modulation of the electron spin density in a solid, where the spin orientation alternates in space with a well-defined wavevector, typically arising from Fermi surface nesting and distinguishing itself from uniform ferromagnetic or antiferromagnetic order by its spatially varying amplitude and phase.
