Source Of Wealth Verification

Source of Wealth Verification is a customer due diligence process in Know Your Customer (KYC) and anti–money laundering (AML) compliance that systematically establishes, using reliable and independent evidence, how a customer has generated and accumulated their overall wealth over time, as distinct from transaction-specific source of funds checks, in order to assess the legitimacy and risk profile of that wealth.
