Sonic Anemometry

Sonic Anemometry is a micrometeorological measurement technique that belongs to the class of anemometric methods and is distinguished by its use of the time-of-flight of acoustic pulses between transducers to determine the three-dimensional wind velocity and sonic temperature at high temporal resolution for the estimation of turbulent surface fluxes.
