Solid-state Lasers

"Solid-State Laser" is a type of laser system in which the active gain medium is a solid, typically a rare-earth-doped crystalline or glass host material, distinguished from other lasers by its use of a solid-state optical source pumped by an external energy source to generate coherent light through stimulated emission.
