Solid-state Ionization

Solid-State Ionization is a method of ion generation in which ionization occurs within a solid material matrix through the application of thermal, electrical, or radiation energy, distinguishing it from gas- or liquid-phase ionization techniques by its reliance on the structural and electronic properties of solids to facilitate the production of ions.
