Solid-solid Heat Transfer
Solid-Solid Heat Transfer is a thermal transport phenomenon in which heat is conducted across the interface of two solid materials in physical contact, distinguished from other heat transfer mechanisms by the absence of fluid phases and the influence of surface roughness, interstitial conditions, and contact pressure on thermal resistance.
