Soft Matter Simulation

Soft Matter Simulation is a computational modeling approach that simulates the mechanical, thermodynamic, and dynamic behaviors of soft matter systems—such as polymers, colloids, emulsions, and liquid crystals—by representing their constituent particles and interactions at a mesoscopic scale, distinguishing it from simulations of hard or rigid materials by its focus on deformable, strongly interacting, and often non-equilibrium entities.
