Sodium-coupled Reabsorption
Sodium-Coupled Reabsorption is a transport mechanism in renal physiology whereby the reabsorption of specific solutes across tubular epithelial cells is driven by the secondary active transport mediated through their symport or antiport coupling with sodium ions, leveraging the electrochemical gradient established by Na⁺/K⁺-ATPase.
