Snell's Law

Snell's Law is a physical law in geometrical optics that describes the relationship between the angles of incidence and refraction when a wave passes through a boundary between two isotropic media with different refractive indices, stating that the ratio of the sines of the angles is equal to the inverse ratio of the phase velocities or the refractive indices of the two media.
