Slowing-down Density
Slowing-Down Density is a neutron transport quantity defined as the number of neutrons per unit energy interval slowing down through a given energy level per unit time and volume in a moderating medium, distinguished by its specific dependence on the energy loss rate and collision dynamics during the thermalization process.
