Slavic Cosmology

Slavic Cosmology is a theoretical framework within the study of Slavic religion that articulates the Slavic peoples' traditional understanding of the universe’s structure, origin, and spatial-temporal order, distinguished by its tripartite division of cosmic realms (heaven, earth, and underworld) and its integration of mythological, agricultural, and calendrical cycles intrinsic to pre-Christian Slavic belief systems.
