Shipborne Remote Sensing

Shipborne Remote Sensing is a systematic observational methodology within the genus of remote sensing techniques that specifically employs sensor platforms mounted on seagoing vessels to acquire atmospheric and oceanic geophysical data from a mobile maritime environment, distinguished by its integration of ship-based positioning, stabilization, and navigation systems to enable continuous, long-range, and in situ–complementary environmental monitoring over open ocean regions.
