Sheep Anesthesia

Sheep Anesthesia is a subfield of veterinary anesthesiology that studies and applies pharmacologic and physical techniques to induce, maintain, and recover controlled states of unconsciousness and/or insensibility to pain in sheep for diagnostic, surgical, or experimental procedures, while explicitly accounting for the species-specific anatomical, physiological, and husbandry characteristics of this small ruminant.
