Sharia Implementation is a socio-legal process in Islamic governance studies that constitutes the systematic enforcement of Islamic religious law within a nation-state or regional jurisdiction, distinguished from other legal frameworks by its derivation from interpretive jurisprudence (fiqh) and its institutionalization of normative Islamic principles in codified legal and regulatory practices.
