Shallow Convective Rainfall

Shallow Convective Rainfall is a type of precipitation arising from buoyancy-driven, relatively low-altitude cloud convection characterized by limited vertical development and the absence of ice-phase processes, typically occurring in warm rain regimes where droplet growth is dominated by collision and coalescence within clouds that rarely extend above the 0°C isotherm.
