Sesamoid Bone Changes

Sesamoid Bone Changes is a morphological phenomenon characterized by structural and compositional alterations in the sesamoid bones of the foot, particularly the hallucal sesamoids, due to age-related degenerative processes such as increased fibrocartilage thickness, calcification, fragmentation, or changes in size and shape, occurring within the context of diminished biomechanical support and adaptive responses in aging individuals.
