Serializable Isolation

Serializable Isolation is a transaction isolation level that belongs to the class of concurrency control properties in database systems, distinguished by guaranteeing that the execution of concurrent transactions is equivalent to some serial (i.e., one-at-a-time) execution order, thereby preventing all forms of transaction interference including dirty reads, non-repeatable reads, and phantoms.
