Sequential Hermaphroditism

Sequential Hermaphroditism is a reproductive strategy in which an individual organism undergoes a sex change during its lifespan, transitioning from one functional sex to the other in a temporally distinct sequence, thereby distinguishing it from simultaneous hermaphroditism within the broader class of hermaphroditic reproductive systems.
