Sequence-structure Side-chain Compatibility

Sequence–Structure Side-Chain Compatibility is a computational metric that evaluates the thermodynamic favorability and geometric feasibility of amino acid side-chain conformations given a fixed protein backbone structure, distinguishing it from general folding models by specifically quantifying the compatibility between a protein sequence and its predicted or observed three-dimensional structure based on side-chain packing interactions.
