Semi-active Vibration Control

Semi-Active Vibration Control is a vibration control methodology that belongs to the class of adaptive control systems in which the system parameters are adjusted in real time using externally powered devices to dissipate energy, distinguished from passive and active systems by its ability to modify damping characteristics without requiring large power inputs, thereby offering a compromise between energy efficiency and controllability.
