Self-condensing Polymerization

Self-Condensing Polymerization is a type of step-growth polymerization in which a single monomer species contains both reactive functional groups and latent functionality that enables it to undergo condensation reactions with itself, leading to the formation of branched or hyperbranched polymers without the need for a separate comonomer.
