Self-care Adherence

Self-Care Adherence is a construct in diabetic foot ulcer care that refers to the extent to which a patient consistently follows prescribed self-management behaviors, such as foot inspection, hygiene, moisturizing, appropriate footwear use, and off-loading, as recommended by healthcare providers to prevent ulceration, promote healing, and reduce complications.
